CHICAGO (06.23.23) —
Digital-first course materials delivery system provider RedShelf has received the inaugural annual Global EdTech Award for Best Established EdTech Company. The award was announced during a live online ceremony that honored winners and runners-up in categories that also included Best EdTech Product (Hardware, Software, and App), and Best School for Digital Transformation.

The Judge of the category and Chair of the ISC Digital Advisory Group, Laura Knight, said of RedShelf's candidacy: "[RedShelf has] had a real impact on students in terms of learning and accessibility and cost," adding, "their case studies shone through, really academically credible, interesting benchmarking and data work, so it's a really compelling story."

The award follows the recent release of version 2 of RedShelf Manager, which establishes and rapidly expands automatic digital materials delivery models (IA and EA) across campuses. Students can access the content on the company’s recently released version 7 of the award-winning eReader.
Born in a Lincoln Park, Chicago apartment in 2012, RedShelf set out on its journey to build a seamless, end-to-end content delivery platform long before most higher-ed institutions realized they’d be providing a digital-first course materials experience to 100% of students. In total the company has raised over $43M in funding. Today, RedShelf’s technology touches almost half of US university and college campuses, delivering nearly one million titles from over 10,000 publishers and content creators.
